My top three goals upon starting the 6-month program were to cook one Ayurvedic meal a week to support my Vata Dosha. Meal-prep every weekend (Ayurvedic meals to support my imbalances.) Eight hours of sleep every night. My coach was able to help me work toward these goals by sharing various Ayurvedic recipes with me. Providing weekly accountability. Suggesting healthy routines that support optimum health and rest. The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been my confidence in my ability to live a healthy life. I know that I can do it. I trust that I have everything I need to live the life I desire. Now that I have the structure, tools, and daily practices, I feel empowered. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been consistency in showing up for myself. It’s been a great reparenting and self-care tool. I know that I am worthy of a fulfilling life and showing up for myself in all areas is supporting me in creating the fulfilling life that I imagine. I would describe my coach as supportive, flexible, a great listener, and resourceful. Whatever goals I set for myself she supported and uplifted me in accomplishing them by cheering me on and holding me accountable. Sometimes I had changes in my schedule and had to reschedule certain appointments. She was compassionate, understanding, and worked around my schedule. She listened to my words and remembered things that I had shared with her. She provided me with a list of additional resources according to the goals I set and the direction I was moving in. I would recommend my coach to assist with any areas of your life that need leveling up. She will support you in any area(s) of your life that you desire to improve. She offers gentleness in her coaching, valid resources to build your knowledge, great tools for growth, and easily implementable practices to aid in your health and overall life improvement.
The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been having more “fired-up” energy about my projects and what I want to create. Instead of feeling so paralyzed by fear or being stagnant, by pushing against that resistance and keeping myself accountable in different ways (including having sessions with Vanessa!) I’ve started my own brand. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been a greater level of confidence in myself to bounce back when I fall into old habits that no longer serve me and my health. I would describe my coach as intuitive, collaborative, calming, sooo wise, and inspiring! I would recommend my coach to women who are looking for resources tailored to their specific needs and accountability from a coach who is compassionate, wise, and reminds you of your “why”. To any woman that find themselves stuck and wants that extra push!
Al comenzar el programa pensaba principalmente en recuperar mi cuerpo después de dos partos: reducir inflamación, perder peso y ganar hábitos saludables (esto último como un bono, porque los dos primeros objetivos eran mi prioridad). Vanessa comenzó por escucharme con lujo de detalles, “escanearme” y detectar los posibles factores que incidían en el desequilibrio de mis doshas, causando excesiva inflamación en mi cuerpo. Me proporcionó una serie de opciones de alimentación que generaron alivio de inmediato, pero fue el acompañamiento emocional y el remesón que el yoga dio a mi cuerpo, a mis parámetros y a mis límites, lo que realmente gatilló para mí un cambio tangencial, el bienestar que esperaba y que no sabía que podía conseguir con un programa que, desde mi punto de vista inicial, era orientado a la alimentación. Puedo diferenciar el “hambre emocional” de la necesidad de alimentar mi cuerpo. Sé que cualquier síntoma que manifieste mi cuerpo es el resultado de mis procesos internos, por lo tanto, entiendo que debo atenderme desde lo emocional y espiritual primero. My top goals upon starting this program were to learn how to manage and balance my hormones in a healthy way so I can successfully reduce the unwanted symptoms of my PCOS. This program was able to help me work toward these goals by giving me the tools and knowledge behind why my body cannot self-regulate, and how to do so naturally without other medications. Since finishing the program, I have noticed I have more energy and I'm no longer tired all the time. Also, I have noticed a huge decrease in my weight, which has been done in a healthy manner by just implementing simple eating habits and adding low-impact workouts into my everyday routine. The most significant change I have noticed is my mood. I am able to go on with my day without experiencing moodiness or irritation. I have also experienced more frequent menstrual cycles. I would describe the "Hormonal Reset" program as a beginner's guide as to how hormones work and how they can affect your everyday life, as well as how to manage them. I would recommend this program to those who have been frustrated because the only answer given is birth control. To those who are continuously fighting to understand why they can't feel normal or why they're always bloated. Often the pill is given as a quick fix but unfortunately, as we all know, quick fixes don't last forever. So, take this program to learn the necessary tools to be able to live a hormone-regulated life.
I feel great! I feel the "Hormonal Reset" program was a complete reset for me. I now drink a lot of water during the day, which I haven't done in months. And sleeping, OMG. I've been able to go to sleep at around 11:30 pm and wake up at 7 am. It may seem still pretty late, but before this, I would go to be at around 2 am and only get a few hours of sleep. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to understand their bodies and improve their health.
